site are provided by the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA) at
Colorado State University through a grant from the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric
Administration (NOAA).
- We get all of our data from the Microwave Sensing Group of NOAA's
National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS).
- The NOAA satellite on which AMSU flies was built under contract to and was
launched by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
